About Micro Sleeve

The Technology of Longevity

Crankshaft Seal Surface SleevesMicro Sleeve Crankshaft Repair Sleeves
Micro Sleeve Crankshaft Seal Surface Sleeves cover most full circle rear main seal gas engines sold in the U.S. and Canada.

Micro Sleeve Company, Inc. originated the seal surface sleeve and released it to the market in 1987. The crankshaft repair sleeve covers the groove worn by a full circle rear main seal. Ford went to the full circle rear main seal in 1983, GM in 1986, and most Chrylser engines developed since the early '80's use this type of seal. A high percentage of Japanese engines are in this category, and Micro Sleeve has coverage for most engines sold in the United States. The company has developed crankshaft seal surface sleeves for both front and rear application on many later models engines, and is working to have full coverage in front crankshaft seal surface sleeves. Micro Sleeve is now working toward the development of British and German manufactured engine applications.
