Overhead Cam Seal Surface Sleeves
Micro Sleeve developed an overhead cam version of the precison carbon steel seal surface sleeve. Using a different configuration, with the precision and wear capabilities of the 24-year quality Micro Sleeve harmonic balancer repair sleeve and crankshaft repair sleeve.

Modern single and double overhead cams can be rebuilt in today's remanufactured engines. Overhead cams can be reground and, in some cases, roller cams have lob wear that still falls within factory specifications. The main problem is oil seal groove wear. The need to have no oil leaks in this area is critical because of timing belts and pulleys. Micro Sleeve overhead cam repair sleeves address this problem so expensive overhead cams can be reclaimed with no compromise in quality and wear life. This line was initiated and tested in late 1998 and 1999 and is steadily growing. Installation tools are also available.
